His work includes projects in TV, online and multiplatform with partners including Disney, Comcast, DIRECTV, Intel, IPG, Showtime, Verizon, Universal, Goldman Sachs and others.Shapiro is CEO of Village Green Network, an online network of over 150 publishers and brands. He serves as Governor of the Television Academy (home of the Primetime Emmys), and as an Adjunct Professor at the USC’s School of Cinematic Arts.
As Head of Production at DIRECTV Advanced Services, Shapiro launched over 25 services on four platforms, including NFL Sunday Ticket Digital, Microsoft’s UltimateTV® and TiVo by DIRECTV, the world’s first major DVR platform. He was previously Partner at Media Valuation Partners and a Senior Producer at the Walt Disney Company.Join Report
